Kari’s writing compulsion began quite early when her mother started making her write thank you cards to relatives she’d never met. Little did the rellies realize they would be receiving a seven-page thank you letter. Front and back.

As a copywriter, Kari is adamant about building brands with words that aren’t as dry as gluten-free toast.* She says buzzwords and corporate jargon bore the sweatpants off people, so if you want to keep your audience engaged, you better have personality-filled copy that people actually enjoy reading.

Alyssa Weeres

Owner & Account Manager

Alyssa says she’s directionally challenged, yet we’ve noticed she never has any problem finding a beach. As a “momtrepreneur” and Account Manager, she always has the compass, the map, and the snacks, and she knows exactly where we’re going. She channels many years of human resources experience into keeping our team organized, coordinating projects, and interacting with clients.

Personable and easy-going, Alyssa is happiest when she’s helping people.* She enjoys figuring out what tools will best support our clients so they can be successful.

Ben Weeres

Owner & Marketing Strategist

Ben steers the Weeres ship and personally leads every project, and his partners-in-crime* are vetted professional creatives. An insightful marketing wiz in a baseball cap, Ben has strong strategic instincts, a sincere commitment to his community, and a slight dependence on coffee. We don’t judge.

When you chat with Ben, you’ll quickly figure out there isn’t a lot of pretense but there is a lot of flexibility. He knows that blowing big bucks on marketing usually isn’t feasible for small business owners, so he’ll figure out the smartest strategies for your budget.

Highway sign typography drives Sandra bonkers.* Obsessed with fonts and the spaces they create, she could happily spend hours tweaking the kerning and leading on design text if we’d let her. (We don’t let her.)

Sandra believes that great design is always a marriage of emotion and information and if you want to compel people to pay attention to products, you must have both. She brings packaging, advertising, branding, and websites to life through a less-is-more approach to graphic design, and her visuals are always thoughtful and fresh.

Sandra's Cat

Kitty routinely sleeps through assignments and never meets deadlines, so we don’t give her any. Not one to shy away from a camera, she likes strutting her stuff across Sandra’s keyboard in the middle of Zoom meetings.​
